Fingerprints Welcome at The Discovery Center

Fingerprints are welcome at The Discovery Center at Murfree Spring.

The hands-on museum for children and adults of all ages is near downtown Murfreesboro and includes 20 acres of outdoor wetlands. Those 20 acres are called the Murfree Spring Wetland, and visitors might see wildlife such as herons, muskrats, river otters, water snakes, frogs and turtles.

The Discovery Center has 15 permanent indoor exhibits. Hours are from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. For more, go to www.discoverycenteronline.org.
