The Arts Come Alive at Murfreesboro Center
Published Jul 22, 2008
It’s all a big act at the Murfreesboro/Rutherford County Center for the Arts.
The center opened to the public in 1995, but is housed in an Italian Renaissance-style building that dates to 1909. It hosts theatrical productions, dance and music performances, theater and art classes, and visual-art exhibitions.
The center’s 168-seat performance hall is home to the Center Stage Series, which features performances by the Murfreesboro Ensemble Theatre and the Rutherford Lyric Opera.
